The most physical games like cricket or soccer would not be as challenging if the planning of strategies was not involved with it. Without these winning strategies you would just be kicking on the ball randomly, in a game. A game of chess requires the players to foresee the movements his opponent would make and plan his move accordingly.

It is the same with video games and computer games. A computer game is played on the computer, it could be an Online games or offline. An online game is played when several other people are also logged in to play the same

game. This sort of a game is even more challenging. And online games also aid in development of motor and cognitive functions of the individual. The challenges in the game provide ample stimuli to the brain and the increased activity of the brain keeps it more energetic and functional. There have been studies which have proved that memory also improves with the games people play on the computer. This might be of quite help to the elder people who suffer with some amount of memory loss. It is also said that the more you exercise the brain, the better your memory is.

Hand- eye coordination also improves by the games. Most of the games involve the use of arrow keys on the keyboard.
People tend to connect with each other when playing the same game. Many people logging on to the free online games, message with their team mates or opponents and a social binding is developed. There are several instances where people who met each other online become friends for life. The social skills of people also improve because of the free games. A person develops a lot of confidence when he becomes an expert in the game of his choice. The confidence also becomes evident in the day to day life. Inter personal relationships of people also improve.
